Yet more socks, silly faces and steam boats.

A few piccies today.
Firstly, Tommy's long awaited socks!!

Silly ketchup face...

And David's steam boat.

He did try making a little movie with Willie as prop manager but it needs a little, erm, err...fine tuning!!!

Great boat David :-)

And you're getting really good at knitting socks aren't you Carolyn. I just don't have the patience for such things!

Socks look fab! Where do you get your self-patterning sock wool from? I've been looking online, but can't work out the best place to get it from. I have quite a lot of 4ply yarn in the loft, but not sure if it's suitable, so I think I need some of the real stuff first.

It's Regia stretch Sock yarn in Bristol, and the green ones were Oslo I think. These two colours actually came from Ebay but I've been struggling to find some more!!! It says 2 balls needed per pair, but I have found that even for the big boys who are size 7 and 8, I can get 2 pairs out of 3 balls!
I copied that pattern for you and then forgot to give it to you when we saw you....doh!!
Good excuse to see you again soon!!!

I could make it a full time job around here!
Love the camo colour...I did happen to notice that it says only 2 balls left......does that mean you succumbed to temptation?!
My Regia yarn has been stretch and been managing to get them from Ebay for just under £2 a ball!!!!
